Summer Engagement at North Ave Beach, Sean & Jenna, Chicago IL

Sean had the perfect plan set in place for his proposal.

Jenna thought she was headed to Sean’s Uncle’s ‘retirement party’. She was all dressed and ready to go when Sean told her to step out on their balcony. He said that one of their friends was out by the lake and that they could see them from their view.

While Jenna was looking around for their friend, Sean got down on knee next to her. Jenna remembers it as, ‘the most amazing moment’.

Naturally, Jenna immediately wanted to let her parents know but Sean convinced her to stop at his family’s home first. In her newly engaged oblivion, she still thought they were headed to a retirement party afterwards.

Much to her surprise, Jenna walked into Sean’s family home to an entire backyard full of their closets friends and family to celebrate their engagement!
